Fall River Says 'No' to Ultimate Fighting Ban

     A proposed ban on ultimate fighting in Fall River has been thrown out by the city council.
     Mayor Robert Correia proposed the ordinance saying the sport was too violent.
     During Tuesday's city council meeting, supporters of the sport argued that the mayor had a misunderstanding of how ultimate fighting differs from mixed martial arts. 
     Ultimate fighting involves head contact, punching, kicking and even knee contact.
     Mixed martial arts however, is simply boxing, kickboxing, and grappling.
