Massachusetts State police have issued an Amber Alert for 6-month-old Lucas Whalen.
Lucas is believed to be with his parents, Michael Whalen and Danielle Boyle of Arlington, MA.
Police say they may be traveling in a rented dark grey 2007 Ford 500 with Massachusetts plate 49RF83.
After loosing parental custody, the couple took their 6-month-old son.
Tuesday, the couple failed to release Lucas to a temporary custodian and as a result of statements and threats made by Michael Whalen there is reason to believe Lucas is in danger and his safety is at risk.
Lucas is believed to be in danger of serious physical injury.
He weighs about 25 to 30 pounds and has hazel eyes and very little hair.
Michael Whalen is described as a 42-year-old white man, weighing about 180 pounds with dirty blonde hair.
He has blue eyes and tattoos.
Danielle Boyle is described as a 24-year-old white woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
She weighs about 135 pounds.
