Attleboro Man Stabbed Over 10 Times in His Sleep

     An Attleboro man was critically injured after he was stabbed nearly a dozen times while sleeping in his bed.
     The attack happened around 4 am Tuesday morning in an apartment on Park Street.    
     Police arrested 49-year old Manuel Mendes Jr. a few hours later, after they found him hiding in the basement of an apartment house on Falmouth Street.
     Officials say Mendes will be charged with assault with intent to commit murder, home invasion, and resisting arrest.
     Police also say the men may have known each other.
