Senator Kennedy Speaks at DNC; New Bedford Mayor Recalls Past Speeches

Senator Ted Kennedy told the crowd at the Democratic National Convention in Denver that "nothing is going to keep me away from this special gathering tonight," and he delivered with a speech on the opening night of the convention.

Kennedy made the trip out of Denver despite his ongoing battle with brain cancer and vows to be back in his seat in the Senate in January.

ABC6 Reporter Robert Goulston spoke with New Bedford Mayor Scott Lang, a longtime Kennedy supporter, and has more details on Kennedy's appearance Monday night.
