Fall River Man Turned in by AOL for Downloading Kiddie Porn

John Eagan

A Fall River businessman is under arrest after his Internet service provider turned him in for downloading child pornography.

The man accused is 58-year old James Finglas, a sales consultant.  Fall River Police nabbed Finglas on Wednesday at his Royal Crest Estates apartment on Courtney Street.

Police say America Online had been eying Finglas since May.  They eventually found about 250 pictures of child porn on his computer and turned them over to the feds.  People who live in his building are shocked.

I know this guy from frequenting the same establishment and I have made it known since I first met him that I didn't like him. I thought he was just an arrogant guy, but apparently he's much worse.

I know this man and was also shocked when I heard the news. Mr.Finglas has always been very respectful and has never acted inappropriately in my company. Society is very quick to judge, but as the saying goes, there are two sides to every story and I would never judge this man without having all the facts. I have Pornography that pops up on my p.c. constantly and even though I delete it, I'm sure it somehow it remains in my history. Nancy Medeiros Fall River, MA
