Thanks for those articulate responses in all CAPS, Donte Holman; you really give us a clear insight into the issue at hand. Following your logic we should go back to the days of horse-drawn carriage due to a few drunk drivers. A quick Google search brings up an old article about "Anthony Parrish" and his past; which interestingly involved another homicide. This most likely wasn't a "beef" that transpired at the club.

We will close one club now but then open it up under new owners/management and the same stuff starts to happen again. The fact of the matter is clubs have liquor, drugs and testosterone. If the city wants to allow the clubs to remain open, it's the CITY who should furnish the police at closing time not the club owners because they will never take on that responsibility. This way, we know the police will be there and we'll be safe. The violence is NEVER going to stop.

It disgusts me how violence runs rampant in Providence. I have reached out to the Mayor to call a MANDATORY Community Town Hall Meeting to meet with people of Providence to discuss this issue. I know Providence police are doing what they can to decrease such violence but I belive there is room for "MORE" effort.
