New Bedford School Changing Logo to Avoid Virginia Tech Legal Action

Chris Boardman

It's back to the drawing board for school officials at Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School.

The school has decided to change it's logo rather than engage in a legal battle with Virginia Tech.

Their logos are almost identical. The only thing that sets them apart are their colors.

Virginia Tech's colors are maroon and gold while Votech's colors are white and green.

The high school has had the logo in place for a number of years which apparently went unnoticed by the university, which recently threatened legal action if it wasn't changed.
