Child of Attleboro Marine Killed in Afghanistan Born

Just days after Marine Captain Kyle Van de Giesen is laid to rest, we're learning his wife Megan has given birth to the couple's second child.

The Sun Chronicle reports Colin Joseph Van de Giesen was born Tuesday afternoon at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Kyle Van de Giesen was killed last month in a midair helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

He and his wife also had an 18-month old daughter together.
