Forget '07: Pats back for another Super Bowl run

AP

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - The defending AFC champion New England Patriots are back at work, trying to erase the memory of the
disappointing end to their otherwise perfect 2007 season.

The Patriots held the first practice of training camp Thursday
morning inside their fieldhouse because of thunderstorms.

Coach Bill Belichick said he's treating this camp no different than any
other, despite the Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants that
ruined their chance at a perfect season.

The Patriots finished 18-1 last year. But quarterback Tom Brady
said the 17-14 loss to the Giants is just another game the team can
learn from.
