PawSox tie the playoff series with the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees

Ken Bell

The Pawtucket Red Sox got a huge lift from starting pitcher Devern Hansack as they go on to beat Scranton-Wilkes Barre 3 to 1, tying the best of five playoff series.

Hansack threw a no-hitter through six innings before he left because of a pitch count.

Hansack handcuffed the Yankees with eight strikeouts in the first four innings.

Jeff Corseletti and Jason Lane each hit solo home runs to help the PawSox tie the series as it shifts to Scranton for game three tomorrow night.
