Celtics open regular season Oct. 27 against Cavs

BOSTON (AP) - The Boston Celtics will open the 2009-2010 regular
season against LeBron James and the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Oct.
27, then return home the following night for their home opener
against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The NBA schedule released Tuesday also has the Celtics playing
on Christmas Day for the second year in a row, this time against
the defending Eastern Conference champion Magic in Orlando.

Another date for Celtics fans to circle is Jan. 31, when the
defending NBA champion L.A. Lakers visit the TD Garden. The two
teams will also play Feb. 18 in Los Angeles.
