URI Breaks Losing Streak

Jimmy Baron scores 18 points as URI halts a five-game losing streak with a 91-85 win over La Salle.

Kahiem Seawright had 16 while Keith Cothran and Will Daniels each added 15 as the Rams improved to 21-9 overall, 7-8 in the Atlantic 10.

Darnell Harris and Ruben Guillandeaux each had 18 for the Explorers (14-14, 8-6), who had won five games straight.

Rhode Island never trailed in the second half and led 75-66 on a
3-pointer by Baron with 7:55 to play.

The Explorers tied the score at 81-81 Baron answered with a three to put the Rams on top for good.
