Brown Ties School Record With 17th Win

AP

An historic victory for Brown.

With a 75-43 win over Penn, the Bears completed season sweeps of
Ivy league basketball powers Penn and Princeton for the first time
in league history.

They also sent the Quakers to their worst loss against league competition.

The 32-point loss eclipsed a 26-point loss to Princeton in 1968.

Mark McAndrew and Peter Sullivan scored 16 points each as Brown
started the game with a 14-0 run and led 44-14 at halftime.

The Bears led by as many as 39 in the second half.

Brian Grandieri had 16 and was the only player to reach double figures for the Quakers.
