The Brown Bears play a great game but fall at Ohio University in the CBI Tournament

The Brown Bears put up a gallant fight in their fourth ever post-season tournament but in the end, Ohio University hit the key shots to win the game 80 to 74.

The Bears were thrilled to be invited to the inagural College Basketball Invitational.

Senior Damon Huffman certainly made the most of his opportunity.

The first team All-Ivy star scored a career high 39 points including nine three pointers which tied a school record.

Huffman was 9 for 15 from long range in a memorable performance.

Senior Mark McAndrew, also a first team All-Ivy selection scored 15 points.

The Barrington product also had six rebounds.

The Bears won a school record 19 games this season and end their year at 19 and 10.

Ohio University is coached by former URI assistant Tim O'Shea.

The Bobcats will play the winner of Wednesday's Cincinnati game at Bradley in the second round of the CBI.
