Narragansett edges South Kingstown in a thrilling third and deciding game for the Division III title

Regent Ducas

Narragansett lost game one of the best of three but came back to beat South Kingstown in the next two to win the state Division III hockey title at Boss Arena in Kingston.

The Mariners built a 2 to 0 lead before the Rebels scored with less than 30 seconds left to make it a 2 to 1 final.

Mariners goalie Tyler Basile had an unbelievable game with 39 saves.

Basile was named Most Valuable Player.

Quite an achievement for someone who has only been playing hockey for two years.
