High School football kicks off in Southern New England

High school football kicked off the season across our area on Friday night.

Rhode Island teams played a half of football for the injury fund.

We have highlights of the East Providence-Exeter-West Greenwich game, St. Ray's facing Coventry, Classical vs. Central and Mt. Pleasant facing Hope.

The season started for keeps in Massachusetts and we have highlights of the New Bedford win over Sandwich and Hingham's victory of Bishop Stang.

UMass-Dartmouth moved it's game against WPI up a day because of Hurricane Hannah. We add highlights of that one too.
