AP

Attleboro beats North Attleboro 12 to 10.

Somerset 47
Case 0

Apponequet 35, Old Rochester 14 (FINAL)
The teams were separated by just one touchdown entering the fourth, but Apponequet proved too much, winning the South Coast Conference outright and earning its first playoff berth since 2001.

The Lakers (11-0) appeared poised to run away early, opening a 14-0 lead with TDs on their first two drives -- Ben Bullock pounded it in from two yards, Jack Gaynor from one. That was it for the scoring until the final minute of the first half, though, with Sam Asci's eight-yard TD catch from Bryan Teefy making it 14-7.

The teams put together three straight TD drives in the second half. Apponequet took their first possession down the field, Bullock tossing a 11-yard halfback-option pass to Nick Jablonski for a touchdown and 21-7 edge after Zach McCabe's kick. Old Rochester (7-4) answered with Travis Lowery's 20th touchdown of the season from three yards out, but the Lakers had too much.

Gaynor built the lead back to two touchdowns with a short run, and after a failed fourth-down try gave Apponequet the ball back on ORR's side of the field, Joe Kaminski capped another drive with a one-yard TD run.

Diman 33, GNB Voc-Tech 12 (FINAL)
The host Bengals (6-5) scored four times on the ground: Cory Silvia (34 yards) and Zoltan Laczy (12 yards) in the first half, and Israel Washington Jr. (39 yards) and Mike St. Pierre (4 yards) in the second.

Jaryd Walker ran it in from one yard in the second after setting up the Bears (2-9) with a 37-yard completion. Genri Fletcher's 19-yard run in the fourth made it 27-12, but Silvia scooped up Voc-Tech's onside kick attempt and ran it back for a score.

New Bedford 37, Durfee 6 (FINAL)
The Whalers (3-8) beat their Fall River rivals for the first time since 2004 and dealt Durfee a winless season. Ian Desrosiers scored three touchdowns, rushing for two in the second half and taking a Nate Lewis screen pass 63 yards for the game's first points. Lewis also had a 37-yard TD toss to Jon Gomes.

Mike Monteiro rushed for New Bedford's other score, with Joe Williams delivering a safety via a QB sack.

Durfee's points came on the final play of the game, Ron Thomas completing a 26-yard pass to Sonny Mello.

Bishop Stang 37, Bishop Connolly/Westport 8 (FINAL)
The Spartans delivered their biggest offensive output of the season on the holiday, routing host Connolly/Westport.

Joe Luiz tossed two first-half touchdown passes -- a 19-yarder to Nate Ford (set up by a Luiz defensive interception) and an 18-yarder to Harry Flynn -- and ran in another from one yard out just before the break.

Andrew Armstrong had a 13-yard TD run and Danny Mello a 9-yard run for Bishop Stang (2-9), which also got five PATs from Mike St. Ours.

Westport's Cody Cadieux recovered a bad snap to the quarterback for Connolly (1-9), but was taken down in the end zone for a safety. The Cougars only points came at the end of the third quarter. Nathan Habib returned a fumble 25 yards, with Westport's Zach Ferreira making the two-point reception.

Dartmouth 35, Fairhaven 20 (FINAL)
Justin Mello joined Jordan Todman as the only Dartmouth players ever to score 20 touchdowns in a season, going in three times in the first half and the Indians capped an 11-0 regular season.

Two first-quarter fumbles accounted for two Dartmouth touchdowns, Sean Sylvia returning the first 67 yards and Mello capping a drive off the second with a 38-yard run. Sylvia had a second TD on a five-yard keeper to make it 35-8 -- Rich Bellizzi went 5-for-5 on conversions.
