New developers in Fall River are slated to bring hundreds of new jobs to the Spindle City.

The former Quaker Fabric building, which closed in 2007 and took hundreds of jobs with it, is now the location for over 300,000 square feet of mixed use development space.

One of the first tenants announced is a Walmart Super Center. Between jobs there, and at other locations at the site, some 600 jobs are expected to be added to Fall River.

Work on the site is slated to begin this year.
