An early morning shooting in Providence, sends one to the hospital.
Officers from the Providence Police department, are investigating a shooting that took place shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday, on Noyse Ave.
Police tell ABC6 News, that one person was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, and at last check was in surgery for injuries sustained in the shooting. The person's identity is being withheld by police at this time, and their condition is not yet know.
Police declined to say if there was any motive behind the shooting, as an investigation is still underway at this time.
