The Rhode Island State Police are investigating an early morning motorcycle accident, that left one man dead.

The accident happened on Route 95 North, near exit 29 in Pawtucket, shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday. Police are not releasing the man's name pending notification of family, but do confirm to ABC6 that he was 35-years-old.

The man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital by ambulance, where he later died. Police continue to investigate the accident at this time, but do believe that speed was a factor.
