Convicted child killer to ask for his freedom for the sixth time

A convicted child killer is set to go before the Parole Board today. 57-year-old Walter Perry is convicted of second-degree murder for the 1984 beating death of two-year-old Leah Perry.

Perry received a life sentence, but will ask this morning, for the sixth time to be a free man. According to the South County Independent, Leah's father plans to attend today's appearance, to make sure Walter Perry remains behind bars.
