Three women are being treated for injuries at Rhode Island hospital after their sedan struck a pole around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police say the accident happened at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Fillmore Streets. The sedan hit the pole head on, according to police.
Three women, one driver and two passengers, were taken to an area hospital.
Police did not say if speed was a factor in the crash. They are not saying how fast the sedan was going before it hit the pole.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
