Norton woman shot by hunter files lawsuit - ABC6 - Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

Cheryl Blair, who was hurt in a shooting accident on New Year's Eve is filing a lawsuit against John Bergeron, the state trooper who, police say shot her. She has also filed suit against the owner of the property on which she was shot.

     The suit filed is looking for damages and accuses them of negligence. Blair's suit says Bergeron didn't bother to pick out what he was shooting and that the property owner didn't warn her Bergeron was hunting there.
