Man accused of stealing TV, hiding from police in storm drain - ABC6 - Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

A Yarmouth man accused of stealing a flat screen-TV, then hiding in a storm drain, is due in court today.

Police say 20-year-old Justin Peckham hit up the Sears store at a Cape Cod Mall Saturday. He was caught trying to load a 55-inch TV into his vehicle and then took off.

Police found and arrested him after he hid in a storm drain for hours. He's facing several charges, including child endangerment, for leaving his 2-year-old daughter behind at the shopping center.
