Many Rhode Islanders will lose their extended unemployment benefits

Unemployed Rhode Islanders will no longer be eligible for the state's extended unemployment benefits.The state no longer qualifies  to offer state extended benefits because of a change in the state's unemployment data.Now, the extra twenty weeks of unemployment is no longer available. The most you can receive is 79 weeks of unemployment benefits.Rhode Island and Idaho are the last two states to offer the extended benefits.
