Gas prices continue to drop in RI and Mass - ABC6 - Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

The fall in gas prices is accelerating.

The average price for a gallon of gas in Rhode Island fell 6.2 cents to $3.46 cents a gallon.

In Massachusetts, prices dropped five cents, to $3.42 cents a gallon.

The national average has fallen 7.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.45 per gallon.

Gas prices are highest in Alaska, Hawaii and California.
