A Dartmouth man is being held without bail after police say he crashed his mini-van through a fence, hitting a four-year-old boy.
64-year-old Pedro Roias is being held until a dangerousness hearing on Tuesday. Police say Pedro Roias was drunk when he backed out of his driveway and went through the fence on the other side of the street.
The little boy was playing in the yard when he was struck. He was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital, but he has since been released and is doing okay.
