RI Dept. of Health recommends closure of Ninigret Pond Beach

The Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH) has recommended the closure of Ninigret Pond Beach in Charlestown due to high bacteria counts.

The beach will remain closed until official determine the water to be safe for swimming.

Water quality analysis will be conducted by the HEALTH laboratory or from a state-certified laboratory.
