In addition to parades and celebrations taking place around the state for Independence Day, southern New-Englanders will be able to view beautiful fireworks displays in lots of places around the state:

 

  • Block Island (New Shoreham), Legion Park, 9:00 p.m.
  • Misquamicut, Wuskenau Beach, 9:00 p.m.
  • Narragansett, Town Beach, 9:00 p.m.
  • Newport, Newport Harbor. Parking available at Fort Adams and Visitors Center, 9:15 p.m.
  • North Kingstown, Town Beach, Beach Street, 9:15 p.m.
  • Portsmouth, Escobar's Farm, 133 Middle Road, 9:30 p.m.
  • Providence, India Point Park, 9:15 p.m.
  • South Kingstown/Wakefield, Old Mountain Field, 9:00 p.m.

If you live across the border in Massachusetts, there are fireworks going on in your area as well:

  • Fall River, Battleship Cove, 9:30 p.m.
  • New Bedford, New Bedford Harbor, 9:00 p.m.
