A paltry 80,000 jobs were added by employers in June. This makes June the third straight month of weak hiring, further proof the economy is still struggling.
The unemployment rate stayed the same at 8.2 percent, according to the report released by the Labor Department Friday.
75,000 jobs were added per month, from April through June of this year.
