BOSTON (AP) - Gov. Deval Patrick is set to sign into a law a $32.5 billion state budget for the current fiscal year.

The governor is also expected to announce any line item vetoes during a Statehouse news conference on Sunday.

The signing of the spending plan comes nearly six months after the governor filed his initial budget proposal with the Legislature. House and Senate negotiators agreed on a final version of the plan last week.

The state has been operating under an interim budget while Patrick and top aides took the full 10 days to review the budget, which calls for no new taxes but withdraws $350 million from the state's so-called rainy day fund.

The budget maintains the same level of support for cities and towns as last year, while boosting total state aid for school districts.
