A body found in the Blackstone River in Woonsocket on Tuesday has been identified.
17-year old Lorenzo Ajavon is the teen authorities found in the river.
His father Clarence Martin says that Lorenzo couldn't swim, making him wonder, how he ended up there in the first place.
Martin had heard about the body that was found in the river, and although he hadn't seen his son since Monday, Martin never dreamed it was Lorenzo.
Then he got the call from Woonsocket Police.
"Right away I knew something was really wrong." said Martin.
He still doesn't know how his son died.
Woonsocket police don't believe that there was any foul play.
Lorenzo would have been a senior at Woonsocket High School.
He didn't have a police record and his father says he always stayed out of trouble.
And dreamed of going to college.
"He liked the university life, the campuses, so I'm pretty sure it was something he was looking for." said Clarence Martin.
The medical examiner's office is performing an autopsy on Lorenzo's body, which should help them, figure out how he died.
