Witnesses say drive-by shooting in Providence, wrecked a parked car

Witnesses say a drive-by shooting on Wednesday night wrecked a parked car.

According to witnesses the shooting happened at about 11:30PM on Wednesday night at 439 Pine Street in Providence.

Apparently a group of people were standing around the parked car, when another car pulled up next to it, and someone inside fired 5 to 8 shots at it.

No-one was hurt during the incident and neighbors say that they're not surprised that something like this happened.

"The way things are this summer in this city, you know anything's liable to happen, so it's just an unfortunate thing." said neighbor Terrell Osborne.
