Eight promotions for Rhode Island State Police

LINCOLN, R.I. - The Rhode Island State Police announced Friday the promotion of eight members, effective July 29.

• To the rank of lieutenant:
  

Mark A. Farnum and Kevin M. Barry, 22- and 18-year veterans, respectively.

•  To the rank of sergeant:

Scott N. Raynes, Roger J. Reardon, and John F. Keenan, who have served for 18, 22 and 20 years, respectively.

• To the rank of corporal:

Staci K. Shepherd, John P. Charbonneau and Ernest P. McKenney, all three with 18 years of service.
