A grandmother from Rehoboth plead not guilty in court Monday, after being arrested for drunk driving with her 3-year-old granddaughter in the car.
Police say they stopped 70-year-old Geraldine Shallcross's car on Wilmarth Bridge Rd. just before 9:00 p.m. Sunday night. They arrested her after they say she was driving erratically.
Shallcross is charged with drunk driving and driving to endanger.She was released on personal recognizance, but cannot drive with a minor in the car.
Her granddaughter was handed over to a relative. Shallcross is due back in court at the end of August.
