Kids' fencing coach accused of molesting 14-year-old in his apartment

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A fencing coach trusted to teach kids is being charged with molesting a young girl.

Gustavo Ducuing, 56, from California is a visiting instructor at the Brown University camp. Police say he told a 14-year-old girl in his class that he would give her private lessons and teach her new fencing moves if she came to his apartment Monday night.

They say she went Ducuing's apartment and was molested. The teen told Brown University Police she was touched inappropriately at around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning. Campus Police contacted Providence Police, leading to Ducuing's arrest.

Ducuing was arraigned in Providence District Court on charges of second degree sexual assault and simple assault. He was released on bail.
