14-soldiers from the Rhode Island National Guard returned to their families on Tuesday night.
The soldiers from the A Co. 1/126th Aviation came back from a yearlong tour in the Middle East, deploying to Kuwait and Jordan, after being part of the last American troops to leave Iraq, as part of the end of Operation New Dawn.
ABC6 News reporter James Swierzbin spoke to the returning soldiers and their families, after they touched down at T. F. Green Airport in Warwick.
