Warwick's City Park Beach closed to swimming

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Warwick's City Park beach is being closed to swimming.

The Rhode Island Department of Health is recommending the closure due to high bacteria counts.

Third Beach in Middletown is also closed.

The state regularly tests the water at public beaches during the summer season to make sure it's safe for swimming.
