State Rep. Leo Medina is in trouble with the law again.

State Police arrested Medina Tuesday morning at his house on Washington Avenue in Providence. He is charged with practicing law without a license and taking money from clients on behalf of other lawyers.

Police say they've been investigating Medina since April. The Attorney General's office got complaints. The A.G.'s office says Medina told prospective clients he was an attorney and earned $1,250 from two victims.

Medina was arraigned today in Providence District Court. He pleaded not guilty and the court released him on personal recognizance.
