Massachusetts State Police say all lanes are open on I-95 northbound and southbound after a truck knocked down power lines on both sides of the highway at exit 4.
They say the wires hanging across the highway were sagging when a truck driving northbound hit them then stopped.
The driver of the truck was shocked and transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. His identity has not be released.
The reason why the lines were hanging so low has yet to be determined.
A southbound truck also hit the wires and stopped. The driver, David Meltz, 55, of Prospect Hill, North Carolina, was not injured.
At least four other passenger cars were damaged during this incident.
Police closed the highway and traffic was at a dead stop from about 3 o'clock to 5:30 Thursday afternoon.
