Coventry teen killed in car accident identified

Coventry police have identified the teen killed in a single car crash early Friday morning. Police say 18-year-old Douglas Auger lost control of his 2002 Honda Civic and struck a tree on Fish Hill Road.

Crews were called to the scene around 12:02 am where Auger was extricated from his vehicle. He did not survive the crash.

Auger just graduated from Coventry High School.
