The food truck stolen from a food pantry in Pawtucket has been found. Without it, the Blackstone Valley Emergency Food Center had no means of picking up food donations to fill their shelves.
It turned up in Central Falls, about four blocks from the police station, which is on Illinois Street.
The center relies on truck and food donations to keep people fed. "We're feeding close to 1500 people every month," said the center's director, Connie Broschu. Workers at the center say the truck disappeared some time between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
