A man was in the shower when firefighters stormed his home on Coogan's Court Sunday night.
The man's girlfriend tells ABC 6, her boyfriend heard a loud noise and that's when firefighters were yelling to him to get out of the home. He quickly threw on some clothes and made it downstairs, but when he got to the door flames and smoke kept him from getting out.
The man got on the backs of other firefighters and was able to get out safely. He wasn't injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The man living there just moved in about two weeks ago.
