Fire officials have recovered a body from the rubble of an apartment in Uxbridge after a massive fire Monday night. A mother and her 6-year-old daughter were reported missing after the fire, but officials won't say if the body found was that of the mother or the daughter.
Flames broke out about 11 Monday night at the building off of East Hartford Avenue South West. Neighbors told firefighters the woman and her daughter had been seen in the area earlier yesterday, and their vehicle was still in the building's driveway.
Dozens of firefighters from at least 14 communities were called to help.
