The new iPhone 5 comes out on Friday and already people are lining up.
It's the first time in Providence, that people have been allowed to camp-out, inside the mall, outside the doors to the Apple Store.
Matt Redmond is the first for the iPhone 5, and by the time the store opens extra early at 8AM Matt will have been in line for 14–hours.
His friends think he's crazy.
"Oh yeah, I'm still getting texts they all think I'm nuts." said Matt.
When online preorders sold out in less than an hour, waiting in line is now the only thing Apple super-fans can do.
"I brought the chair, the snugee, made sure all my devices are charged. It'll go by quickly it usually does." said Cindy Vuittonet.
But for these apple fanatics, the wait is more than worth it.
"I will be really excited, but I do have to go to work after, so I'll be a little tired, but I'll be OK." said Vuittonet.
"I'm gonna be excited. I want to have it in my hand and then have the employees help me crowd surf my way out." said Redmond.
