WEST GREENWICH, R.I. - Police have identified the man who they say robbed a Shell gas station on Route 3 in West Greenwich early Sunday morning.
West Greenwich police say they believe the man who robbed a Shell gas station on Route 3 in West Greenwich around 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning is the same man who robbed a Mobil Station in Warwick later Sunday morning.
Police say a man walked into the Shell Gas Station on Route 3 around 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning. The man, police say, demanded money and insinuated that he had a gun. No weapon was displayed during the robbery. He fled on foot shortly thereafter, but it is unclear if the man made off with any cash during the robbery.
No one was hurt in the robbery, according to police.
