Nearly 150 National Guardsmen returned home today after a year-long deployment in Kuwait. The 1st 126th Aviation Regiment was greeted with cheers, signs, and happy tears as they entered the Warwick Armory after their plane landed at T.F. Green Airport. The aviation regiment was supporting the global war on terror during their deployment, performing direct support aviation missions with Blackhawk Helicopters in Southwest Asia.
