TIVERTON, R.I. - A Tiverton church celebrated on Sunday its 300th anniversary, by celebrating mass with regalia from the era in which it was founded- the early 18th century.

 The pastor of "holy trinity church" on Main road arrived to Sunday's mass on horseback and wearing colonial clothes, just one of the ways the church marked this milestone anniversary.

Most of the parishioners enjoyed the re–creation.
