Lemar Wilburn pleaded nolo contendere today in Providence Superior Court to the murder of Princeton Miller.
Under the terms of the agreement Wilburn was sentenced to 60 years in prison, with 35 to serve and the remainder suspended with probation on the charge of 2nd degree murder.
Wilburn was charged with the murder on the night of May 7, 2011 when Wilburn and 3 others got into an altercation with Miller over his barking dog.
Wilburn attacked and stabbed Wilburn in the neck, chest, back and leg after Miller attempted to flea the scene.
After a Providence Police investigation it was determined that Wilburn dropped $200 and a baseball cap at the scene. The three men with Wilburn also identified him as the assailant.
Attleboro Police arresteded and he was later questioned by Providence Police where he admitted to being at the scene and stabbing Miller.
