At 9:30 AM in Lincoln, an unidentified male suspect broke into a woman's residence on Talwood Dr. while she was there. Upon discovering the burglar, she fled into the woods behind her house, which border Rt. 295. The suspect did the same.

The Lincoln Police responded, as well as the Johnston, Cumberland and State Police Departments. Using a Johnston Police Dog, authorities followed the suspect's scent across 295, then all the way to a local bike path on Rt. 116, where the dog unfortunately lost the scent.

The suspect is still at large, but is no longer believed to be in the area. Police are processing the crime scene in hopes to gain more information that may lead to his capture.
